ROGUEKILLER PORTABLE

Windows (All Versions)
RogueKiller is an anti-malware program written in C++ and able to detect and remove generic malwares and some advanced threats such as rootkits, rogues, worms, etc.

Based on generic ways to find malwares by their behaviour (heuristics), on classic anti-malware analysis (signature finding) and on undocumented hacks, RogueKiller can find/remove most of the basic malwares (rogues, trojans, …) and some advanced threats like ZeroAccess or TDSS that behave more like rootkits.

RogueKiller is a tiny anti-malware maintained by a small team, and thus new detections are based on “most spread threats“. RogueKiller react quickly to integrate detection and removal of what think can be a global threat and affect a big amount of users across the world.

Here’s a little summary of what RogueKiller is able to do:
Kill malicious processes
Stop malicious services
Unload malicious DLLs from processes
Find/Kill malicious hidden processes
Find and remove malicious autostart entries, including: Registry keys (RUN/RUNONCE, …), Tasks Scheduler (1.0/2.0) and Startup folders
Find and remove registry hijacks, including: Shell / Load entries, Extension association hijacks and DLL hijacks
Read / Fix DNS Hijacks (DNS Fix button)
Read / Fix Proxy Hijacks (Proxy Fix button)
Read / Fix Hosts Hijacks (Hosts Fix button)
Restore shortcuts / files hidden by rogues of type “Fake HDD“
Read / Fix malicious Master Boot Record (MBR), even hidden behind rootkit
List / Fix SSDT – Shadow SSDT – IRP Hooks (Even with inline hooks)
Find and restore system files patched / faked by a rootkit[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

How to usb-tether VPN from Android to PC

My Android phone, Galaxy Chat GT B5330, is a year and some monds old now. It has helped me browse the internet not only from mobile device but also from Chrome and Firefox, Uc Browser in PC.

When you don’t have a modem., using your android phone as an online tool or as a modem is the only solution.

To turn your phone to be a modem, you simply click USB tether option under Settings > More > Tethering and Portable Hotspot. This trick, however, doesn’t work if you are using a VPN connection from certain apps such as Psiphon, DroidVPN and OpenVPN. I understand that in Botswana, these free tunneling applications are very popular, especially among cellular network phreakers.

If you are one of those people who utilize VPN connections and want to transmit it to your Windows computer, then here’s the trick:
Download PdaNet Tether Package.

Simple installation steps

  1. Grab the Android version of PdaNet from package above
  2. Install to your phone
  3. And install to your computer

Connecting PdaNet to your computer

  1. Before you do anything with the PdaNet softwares, make sure you have enabled debug mode on your Android device.
  2. Turn on your VPN apps until it is connected, usually with a key symbol in the status bar.
  3. Open PdaNet in Android phone and check “Activate USB Tether” and wait till it’s ready. See the a screeshot below:
  4. PdaNet%2Bandroid%2Bfree%2Bvpn%2Binternet
  5. In your computer, find and right-click the PdaNet symbol and click “Connect.”
  6. tether%2Bpdanet%2Bwindows%2Bfree%2Binternet%2Bvpn
  7. Done.

Congratulations! Your Android phone now shares its VPN connection with your computer.
